Frank’s legal practice focuses on the entertainment and sports industry, representing clients in connection with both transactional and civil litigation matters. Prior to going into private practice, Frank was one of the founding members of Dewey & LeBoeuf, LLP’s Entertainment, Media, and Sports Practice Group, which was founded in 2007. Frank has successfully negotiated contracts for and handled civil litigation matters on behalf of iconic talent, and has counseled start-up production and media companies. He is also a certified NFL contract advisor.

Prior to joining Dewey & LeBoeuf, LLP, Frank was an associate with the boutique entertainment law firm, The McMillan Firm, where he handled a wide variety of transactional and litigation matters ranging from contractual matters to copyright and trademark for various entertainment clients. Before joining The McMillan Firm, Frank was a litigation associate at the international law firm of Jones Day where he represented several Fortune 500 corporate clients in commercial transactions, intellectual property and securities matters.

Over the past decade Frank has amassed a strong network of accomplished individuals in the entertainment, media, and sports industries. He has close relationships with numerous managers of talent, agents, artists and wealth managers as well as attorneys that practice in the sports and entertainment fields. Frank works closely with his wide range of colleagues on matters ranging from client representation to sourcing new business deals.

Frank is admitted to practice in New York State as well as in the federal court for the Southern District of New York. He received his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from The College of New Jersey.


Bernie Jackson is a highly experienced transactional attorney well versed in the negotiation of contracts in corporate and partnership matters as well as in media, intellectual property and entertainment. He has represented large and small corporations, various business entities, artists, actors and film production companies.

Mr. Jackson is an adjunct faculty member for the MBA in Media Management Program at Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) where he teaches Entertainment Law & Media Ethics and The Music & Print Industries in the Digital Millennium.

A former Counsel in the New York office of Dewey & LeBoeuf’s Entertainment and Media Group, Mr. Jackson worked closely with firm partner L. Londell McMillan, the co-global head of the department. While at Dewey & LeBoeuf he specialized in contract negotiations in all areas of the entertainment and media industry (music, film, television, Internet, etc.) and worked on matters for major corporate clients, various media and entertainment companies, and notable individual clients.

Upon graduation from New York Law School, Mr. Jackson joined the law firm of Minter & Gay where he attended to the many facets of the music industry working closely with firm partner, Kendall Minter and counsel Denise Brown representing well known international entertainers. He left Minter & Gay to commence his own practice and acted as the legal and business affairs officer of a start-up music production company that launched the career of a multi-platinum recording and which had an imprint label/record distribution agreement with a major recording company.

As a former New York City Teaching Fellow he acquired a Masters Degree in Education at The City College of New York while teaching Business Law, Constitutional Law, Entrepreneurship and United States History at the Bronx High School for Law, Government and Justice.

A graduate of Boston University’s School of Public Communication with a major in Film & Broadcasting, Bernie has also obtained a Professional Certificate for Film & Television Producing from New York University’s School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Broadway Dreams Foundation.


Jason Lampert began his career working for the prominent criminal defense firm of Tacopina & Seigel, P.C.  During that time Jason represented clients in connection with some of New York City’s most high profile criminal matters.  As a member of their firm’s trial team, he handled a wide array of criminal and civil trial work in both State and Federal Court.

More recently, a large portion of Jason’s practice is also served as advising the firm’s sports and entertainment clients.  As a certified National Football League contract advisor, he assists his clients with the negotiation of their NFL player contracts and marketing/endorsement opportunities.  Jason also assists with protecting his clients’ “brands” by providing legal advice regarding intellectual property issues, corporate structuring, as well as vigorously defending his clients’ interests in court.

Jason is admitted to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey, and the federal courts in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He received his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University-Bloomington.



Samuel serves as of-counsel to the firm and his  legal practice focuses on providing executive legal counsel for business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs alike. Since embarking on his legal career in 2008, Samuel has handled well over $500M in transactions spanning across industries and geographic borders, including but not limited to financing, merger & acquisitions for company sales, as well as raising capital for start-up ventures.  Samuel is an innovative thinker that his entrepreneurial clients appreciate and benefit from.

Samuel received his Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University Law School in 2007 and has a Bachelor of Science in Finance & International Business from the University of South Carolina.
